De voorzitter doet zijn best om te voorkomen dat er meer lekt, waarop van Meijeren een punt van orde maakt, dat dit nu wel besproken MOET worden, omdat anders de kans voorbij gaat. "het is geen rechtbank".....

Een historische vergissing noemt Pieter Omtzigt het als het partijkartel zijn voorstel torpedeert om tot een gedegen debat over alle boven tafel gekomen malversaties door VWS, die het OMT en RIVM in een gewenste richting stuurden. Tot dusverre is alleen nog maar van de eerste 3 maanden bekend gemaakt door WOB verzoeken. Maar dat is al voldoende om stijl achterover te slaan. De gehele oppositie is voor het voorstel van Omtzigt, maar VVD, CDA en D66 zijn duidelijk in paniekoverleg en stemmen tegen. Nog opmerkelijker is dat voorzitter Vera Bergkamp, die geacht wordt neutraal te zijn, dan al de conclusie trekt dat er geen steun is, terwijl de SGP nog niet eens gesproken heeft!
